CrewTab is built around local bill history and clear controls for deleting saved data.
1. Introduction
CrewTab is designed to help split bills while keeping saved bill history on your device. This page explains what information may be handled when you use the app.
2. Receipt Images And Text
If you take or upload a receipt image, CrewTab uses OCR to extract receipt text. When AI parsing is configured, extracted receipt text may be sent to the AI parser to convert it into structured bill items, charges, and totals.
3. Bill History
Saved bills, people, items, totals, tax percentages, additional-charge percentages, and receipt names are stored in a local JSON file on your device. CrewTab does not require an account for bill history.
4. How Information Is Used
CrewTab uses bill information to calculate each person’s share, show history, group analytics by day, month, or year, and create shareable split summaries.
5. Sharing
When you use sharing features, CrewTab creates formatted split results as text or an image so you can send them through the sharing apps you choose.
6. Subscriptions And Purchases
CrewTab may use RevenueCat to check purchase or subscription status. Purchase handling is separate from your locally saved bill history.
7. Your Choices
You can delete individual bills from History, or use Settings to clear all saved bills from this device. Clearing all bills permanently deletes local CrewTab bill history on that device.
8. Children
CrewTab is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law without appropriate consent.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated as CrewTab changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with the effective date.
